What is compensated in the event of an accident?

An accident is considered an unexpected event independent of the insured person’s will and caused by external influences (bodily injury, heat stroke, freezing, poisoning caused by gas or other substances accidentally entering the body), as a result of which the person’s physical condition deteriorates sharply. In this case, we reimburse the reasonable and unavoidable expenses incurred to ensure treatment. In the event of the death of the insured person, we will also compensate the costs of cremating the body in the extent of the sum insured.
