What to do if damage occurs at home?

If an unexpected insurance event happens in your home, follow these steps:

  • Notify the relevant authorities – if there is theft, vandalism, or another crime, inform the police. In case of fire, flooding, or any major accident, call emergency services.
  • Document the damage – take photos and/or videos of the damage and keep as much evidence as possible (e.g., damaged items, receipts, witness statements).
