What is compensated in the event of an accident?

An accident is considered an unexpected event independent of the insured person’s will and caused by external influences (bodily injury, heat stroke, freezing, poisoning caused by gas or other substances accidentally entering the body), as a result of which the person’s physical condition deteriorates sharply. In this case, we reimburse the reasonable and unavoidable expenses incurred to ensure the treatment. In the event of the death of the insured person, we will also compensate the funeral costs or the costs of transporting the ashes to Estonia in the extent of the sum insured.
