What does travel insurance cover?

If you fall ill or have an accident while traveling, we will reimburse you for unavoidable medical care. Travel insurance compensates, among other things, the costs related to sudden illness, exacerbation of a chronic disease or an accident, as well as the treatment of acute tooth infection and pregnancy with complications, unavoidable medical transport, funeral or repatriation, and the costs of accompanying the injured party. We also reimburse the costs of replacing a single travel document that is stolen or lost.
