What does the foreigner’s health insurance cover?

If you fall ill or have an accident while in Estonia, we will compensate you for unavoidable medical care. Health insurance compensates, among other things, the costs related to an unexpected illness, exacerbation of a chronic disease, or an accident, as well as the costs of inpatient and outpatient medical care, unavoidable medical transport and repartition. We also reimburse expenses for necessary medications prescribed by a doctor in the extent of the sum insured.
